CELEBRATE PROM WITH PRIDE

CELEBRATE PROM WITH PRIDE

Prom is one of those milestones that most high school students look forward to for years! Picking out the perfect outfit, getting your hair did, painstakingly choosing the perfect accessories to look your best and celebrate with your friends. But what if you weren’t able to wear the outfit that made you amazing to the party? What if you were too afraid of what people might think to bring a date? Unfortunately, that is still the reality for many LGBTTIQQ2SA+ youths. With Pride week upon us however the folx at Fierté Sudbury Pride in partnership with GSPS Cheif’s Youth Initiative, have organized a PRIDE PROM! A totally inclusive event for youth 18 and under to enjoy the prom experience in a safe and accepting environment. This is a FREE chaperoned event taking place Friday, July 12th from 7-11PM at the Sudbury Theatre Centre.
