Enjoy the night sky at Science North!
Twice a month Science North is hosting their FREE Star Party for anyone interested in checking out the night sky through their Celestron 11-inch reflector telescope.
You can gaze at the planets, the moon and other astronomical objects through powerful telescopes and binoculars. Learn how to find constellations and hear some of the mythological stories associated with them.
Science North has staff on hand to assist with the telescope and answer any of your star gazing questions. Star Parties are weather permitting and you can call the Star Party Hotline – 705.522.3701 ext. 243 – the evening of the event to check if the Star Party is a go!
This Friday, they are taking the Star Party to Dynamic Earth in front of the main entrance!
