There is No PLANet B

If you are interested in making a change in your community and want to learn more about climate change, join Plastic-Free Greater Sudbury and Coalition for a Liveable Sudbury for No PLANet B on Monday, April 29th at the Living with Lakes Centre (840 Ramsey Lake Road). The event starts at 6pm and guest will view a 30 minute documentary ‘A Plastic Ocean’, followed by a Climate Change Information Session.

We should all be taking steps to reduce our carbon footprints and there will be hands-on support from local groups at the event to help you with this. This is a family friendly event so you can bring your kids and help turn plastic waste into art.

Here’s what you can expect from this event:

  • Get tons of tips to cut down on single-use plastics.
  • Pick up some vegan recipes.
  • Learn some tricks to avoid food waste.
  • Save money and cut emissions by reducing your home heating needs.
  • Check out an electric vehicle and find out more about them.
  • Plan your route by bus or bike.
  • Speak up for action on climate change. Sign the climate pledge and the climate action petition.
  • Connect with others and take action together.
