Top 5 Events to check out in Sudbury this month

Cross-Out Cancer – Sunday, February 3rd @ Kivi Park

If you cross country ski, help out the Northern Cancer Foundation this Saturday and be part of the ‘Cross-Out Cancer” Ski Loppet. This event is for everyone – whether they are on the trails skiing, sliding, skating or warming up in the Après Ski Area with hot chocolate and marshmallows. The cost is $35 for adults and $5 for kids.

2019 Pond Hockey Festival – Friday, February 8th – Sunday, February 10th @ Northern Water Sports Centre

Did you register your team yet? Play hockey as it was meant to be played, on natural ice rinks! 3 days of unbeatable outdoor fun on the shores of Ramsey Lake, multiple divisions for all ages and abilities. This year the tournament is supporting families affected by childhood cancer via Camp Quality Northern Ontario.

Grab your partner or friend and experience chocolate in an exciting new way during this couples only sensual Valentines Day event. They will be featuring a five course tasting menu with some surprise cocoa pairings as well as some sensual surprises. Tickets are $65 each.

Art Battle Sudbury – Wednesday, February 20th @ Cambrian College

Prepare for an amazing evening of live competitive painting as artists have 20 minutes to take their canvases from blank to beautiful, battling not only the clock but each other as well.All artwork created will also be available via silent auction. Tickets are $20.

Nightlife on the Rocks: Thinkin’ & Drinkin’ (19+) – Friday, February 22nd @ Science North.

Nightlife returns in 2019 with a reimagined fourth floor! Challenge your friends on the new racetrack, nerd out with Nickel City Trivia and create custom coasters with wood burning. There will also be live music and drinks. Tickets are $20.
