Great Lake Swimmers – Great Lake Swimmers return to Sudbury as a kickoff for their fall 2016 tour. Through 6 albums in 15 years, Great Lake Swimmers have created some of the most beautiful sounds in the world. Oktoberfest Week at Taphouse: Pilates and Pints – Enjoy a 1 hour pilates class along with a flight of beer! In partnership with Pilates Pro Rehabilitation & Conditioning Centre Inc. Cost: $15 – 7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. @ Taphouse Northern Grill + Pub – 1500 Regent Street

Sudbury Trivia Night –  3 rounds of 15 questions, and one bonus question per round. Pages are marked a-la grade 5 math class by passing them to a friend. Points scored for being awesome and promoting awesome things! Find a funny answer on someone’s card, even if it’s not the right answer you can still nominate them for an awesome star. We also reward jokers and pranksters and all those who don’t cheat! Winner takes home bragging rights and some awesome prizes. Did we mention that the overall highest score takes home half the pot? 8:00 p.m. @ Fromagerie Elgin – 80 Elgin Street

We have done beer and food, but we decided it’s time to kick it up a notch. Now that the fall air has begun to settle in and patios are closing for the season, it’s time for something that has a little heat.
